I would hope that the President would have the presence to understand and react to the formality of the situation. Unlike you, you ignorant Half Wit. You get on an internet forum and react to these supposed slights to your wife. You toss your threats and insults while trying to build yourself up with boasting about your business skills. Yet you admit you weren't smart enough to keep your partners hands out of the cookie jar. I hope your wife isn't as embarrased by your behavior and lack of manners as I would be if I knew you.

As far as smacking me down, go for it. Based on what I've seen from your previous posts you lack the mentality to do a proper job of it. If the best you can do is hurl profanities from your keyboard this should be slightly, and only slightly, entertaining. What else have you read about Japan. Enlighten me some more.

Uh Oh. Rockets are playing. I'll be back in a couple hours to see if you have come back with something interesting. Do your best now. Moron!

I must admit I am completly impressed with all of this.

FBA gives away a free alarm, and I ask a simple question if any has solved the HID issue FBA had with his HID's back in June.

And my thread is catching his in size.

Although I must give most of the credit to ZX14_1965 on this one. This is probably the most attention he has recieved in years. Asian women are pretty passive. The one I am dating drives me nuts because she agrees with everything. I can't hang with that. Us American men need to argue and fight once in ahwile with our mates. So I know where your at ZX14_1965. Your just getting it out here. Difference is I won't marry mine, got her out of a nightclub. I am not fat nor ugly, so don't have to go shopping for a mail order bride off the web.

2006 BMW K1200GT -- total stocker with factory installed HID option...whats the difference there? Do they supply a flashlight and bungee too?:P

my guess is that they have a tungsten backup system in place... I'd be surprised if they dont.

and yes... you're getting the same advice but for free... I;m not a salesman so I dont make any money off of people buying stuff... I could care less what people buy.

No tungsten backup, unless you consider the middle beam (5 watt) that. High beams are tungsten though...

You mean 4000K, 6000k 8000k right, Mr. know-it-all?

For those of you are curious, the higher the value, the bluer the light...most OEM cars are in the 4000K range...aftermarket goes wild for the 8000K (very blue) light...white is closer to the 4000K

Correct FBA, that corresponds to the equivalent light color of a carbon block at those temperatures in degrees Kelvin. The lil Jap punk thinks that "K" in this case stands for thousand whereas it actually means degrees Kelvin.

Well, I wouldn't call it backup exactly, there aren't any vehicles that I know that employ OEM HID high beams...but I guess in a sense you could twist it to say it's a backup.

no... my point is that your only source of light is NOT HID... therefore they have left you some sort of "backup" (in this case in the form of the high beams) to ensure you will have some light in the event the HIDs fail. This is 100% intentional as only a fool would count on HIDs or any other discharge light as their primary source of light.

You run a large company. I assume you have a warehouse of somesort which probably has Metal Halide or some other form of discharge lamp in the ceiling ("high bay lights" or whatever else you might call them)... Note that when you turn those high bay lighbts on and off, or if they shut themselves off they trigger to a tungsten lamp as backup.

No one relies on HIDs.... that's because you cant rely on them. They're unreliable.

Hope this clears it up.

I always thought that the reason they used tungsten bulbs as high beams was because of the warm up time...but I could be wrong.

On my 14, though I have installed HID's on the lows and highs, I seriously doubt I'll see all 4 fail at one time, but when I travel away from home, I bring spares...but I do that with any bulbs I use...

In any case, I would like to find a solution to the light pattern problem. I have never seen a bike that uses a single adjustment for the lows and highs, till the ZX14 hit the streets. I just don't get it...

BTW, it's not a "large" company...though I wish it was...and yup, we're moving now and I'm installing MH High bay's all over the warehouse.

Nav, I've been thinkin' he's an ASSHOLE for some time. I agreed to stop using "Jap" when referring to his wife, not to stop using it in this forum, not that I use it as derogatory anyway. I think he's being a little cunt about the whole thing . . .

Stalwart you just used a 3 lettered, shortened version of my screen name. If I were him I might take exception to that. Thankfully, I'm not him. Besides, I sign off that way all the time. I'm thinking that I might change my screen name to Halfbreed. It actually fits better than Navigator since I wasn't in the Air Force and I don't own one. Most people don't even consider the nautical reference, but that is where it comes from. I am most definitely a halfbreed and am comfortable with that fact.

My guess is he has a self confidence issue. He confuses pride with self esteem and retaliates any time he feels his self esteem is threatened. I could be wrong though. There are those who allow too much pride to transform them into prideful, overbearing pricks.

Time to turn off the lights (GE 60 watt soft white) and call it a night.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. Back to our regularly scheduled programming.

fish, have you actually talked to a lighting engineer at a car manufacturer who told you about the tungsten backup issue? cause i for one seriously question the non-stupidity of that comment..

1. there is no fragile filament to break in an HID bulb, whereas halogen bulbs are very fragile
2. HID bulbs burn alot longer
3. If the ballast is so fragile, how can an ignition module possibly survive in a car?
4. what is the "backup" for a halogen headlight that goes out (which happens frequently)?
5. ever thought the HID lights u use aren't the same as the ones auto manufacturers use?

and if you came to me for 90%+ of computer issues i'd shrug and tell u i got no clue, cause i'm only knowledgeable in the small slice of computers that i work in. u telling me there is nothing concerning light or there production thereof that u'r not an expert in?

dude, I have better things to do than sit here and type out 20 pages of why things break.

Instill confidence? 19 years in a specialization is a pretty long tour of duty... that should tell you that I've learned a thing or two along the way .

So, I guess you know better so do what you want.

Good on 'ya - finally seeing the light...well partially anyways. Ask any well mannered human being about using that word in a normal way. Well shit, you live in a town where Microsoft is pretty big and they employ quite a few Japanese people. I dare you to call any of them a "Jap".
Ask for Masu Yoneda....a very good friend of mine. I'll arrange you guys to have lunch...then ask him what he did to the last fool who called one of his favorite baseball players a "Jap" in a sports bar in Seattle, then went on to call him a "Jap". and this was just 3 months ago.

Oh, now you want to get in on this? You can animate your personal experience with the asian women you've dated so don't think you can sum it up in one word and label all asian women as "passive".

I jumped in on this thread to state that there ARE ZX14 SPECIFIC HID KITS SOLD IN JAPAN! And a couple of numb nut fucks want to sit and rip on "JAPS" and call my wife a "JAP" ...So screw off "JJ". Here ya go..... --->:milk

You summed it up in the first sentence....and you don't realize it. (Go back to your game...nothing to see here).....No different that slammin someone's wife with a "JAP" term. Get a clue...you're the first "uncle tom half Japanese", but I guess they only exist on the internet...didn't know they existed but there's a first for everything.

As for doing business in a partnership venture TRUST and LOYALTY are key to success. Everything else comes second nature. GREED will always ruins a good thing. Unfortunately the two clowns lacked trust & loyalty and was overindulged with greed. Live and learn about the character of different people.
I'm not going to sit here and clown on any specific class of people, black, white, hispanic or asian...but the two clowns were white....one was a Pepperdine grad student and the other was a UCLA graduate who was starting up an export business. So to sume it up.....POS people come in all sizes, colors and race...nobody is exempt.

What kind of "rice burner" do you ride? or is it a "hibachi"? These words are fine because you're not directly implying a human being but more so an object. A real anal person could be offended even with those words or reference. Did you get a clue yet? ..keep looking...open up 'dem eyes a bit more. I have some toothpicks...

I have some nice fresh hirame -- would you like me to send you some?
Guys like you really make me laugh...just because you were born in Japan makes you one of them. ...uh ok. You don't even know half your culture and you want to rant and rave about you being half Japanese...who gives a shit. oh and owning a "rice burner" or "hibachi machine" don't make you any closer to being Japanese. You're an idiot...but I think you know that..

Halfbreed would be befitting - equates to being called a "mutt". Nevertheless befitting for you so go for it. You're clueless on this issue but that's cool.
Tought you used "navigator" cuz you were huge like an SUV but guess I was wrong.

No self confidence issues here "half-breed"...and not confused between the meaning of pride and self esteeem. I've retaliated cuz a couple of dumb fucks wanted to bring my wife into this stupid HID issue. If you can't understand that...go back down the street to your alley and continue to fuck your cardboard box.

I support your desires to change your screen name to "Half-Breed"...or if you want it to sound more half Japaneezy....try "Ha-fu"
