Htosado, I' ve heard that this thing is a monster... 1800cc V-4 with 200 HP, so I do agree with you. It will be a force to be reckon with. Word has it that Yamaha wants the 1/4 mile King title back. If they can keep the weight down this time and get the rear tire to stick they might just have a chance.

That's an 1800?????? Holy smokes. I always wanted a V-Max.
I was looking at them right when the 14 came out. The V-max was down on power thou.
The 14 is still gonna be hard to beat, it has way more going on besides the power.

SoCal, Yes, this is all just prototype. I'm sure that there will be many changes along the way. The top section of the bike is not complete yet... That's all plastic near the seat and tail section.

Yes and shaft driven. The old V-max still dominates many bikes, but this one I hope will be even better. They also upgraded the brakes and suspension to handle better (finally).
I will buy it if it is what they claim, I love the V-max!!!!

Highly doubt they sell an 1800, and highly doubt it makes more than 15 rwhp more than the 14....
Unless they do something with the handling of yester year, the first corner will leave it VERY far behind.
Hope they do something great though....
More development and competiion is great for us.... the consumer!
