520 and 530 chain
what is the difference between the 520 and 530 chain and does the 14 have either? If not what does it have?

520 is lighter/smaller than the 530 chain. Most road race bikes use 520 chains for weight reasons. Many streetbikes use 530 chains for strength/durability reasons.

530. You wont find any/many bike bore bikes that come with anything smaller. The power/torque would be too much for a big bore streetbike.

If you're still curious, next time you're in a bike shop check out both chain setups and you'll see the difference.

difference is the 520 goes snap and the 530 lives to ride, also o-ring chains are beefier and the only way to go for street
i switched to a non o-ring tsubaki on my old cbx and left it on the ground during a launch
