PowerBronze Windscreen?

Does anyone have any feedback on this sheild yet?
I've seen a few guys have purchased them already, likes, dis-likes?
I am dying to get a taller sheild on the bike, but am not impressed with the MRA version seems to low:

look good, but i am very skeptical about windscreens. i bought a memphis screen and had to send it back to kneedraggers because it was COMPLETE CRAP. got a puig, and its excellent in every way (fit, finish, good quality!). this was all on my zx-12- for the zx-14 ill probably go with a puig dark smoke double bubble... same thing as whats on my 12.

about the puig screens. CS you said you had a dark smoke double bubble? I drag race at my local track at nights...how dark is the dark. I need to be able to see through it and their light smoke seems too light...barely looks smoked at all...their dark (at least in pics) looks really really dark almost too dark...but I havent seen one in person to be able to tell.

Does the PUIG have the upturned trailing edge lip?

Is it effective at reducing turblence?

pics of it on my zx-12 in the "stripping 14 wheels" thread.
dont think i would use it for dragging though. you can see out of it but youd be better off going with clear or light smoke- much more practical.

I have the Powerbronze and it is decent. I dont really care for the edge trim so will probably take that off and sand the edge smoother. The dark is not quite as dark as a ZG, but if you want it strictly for the track they do sell clear DB's. Puig are quality. If they were both available I would have bought a Puig, but they are dragging ass on production.

Got mine today, dark color. Going ot have to paint the bottom part like the stock screen to keep from being able to see the wires for the console. There is a large gap between the gauge display and the top of the screen. I think you should stick with ebay cause a got mine direct before I knew they were on there and they hit me up for 60 bucks shipping. Got a free bag of tea though...LOL

I believe ebay was shipping to 10 bucks. Might try a red to see how it looks. The screen does get the wind up off of the face of the helmet though. I am 6'2" so i still have to dip in. Helps with the sun also.

Didn't see the tea bag part. I though I was feeling a slight abrasive rub on my back side.

I got mine today. Here is a link to the pictures.

http://web.mac.com/davidchuba/iWeb/David_Chuba/ZX-14%20Windscreen.html

Nice quality. I would have preferred that the edge be polished instead of the trim. They did include enough trim for another installation in case you need it in the future. The tint is not as dark as I thought. Also the screen is translucent all the way to the base so you see the tip over switch and wiring through the screen. You may or may not like that. It's a matter of opinion. I don't mind it, but I think it would have been better with a solid tint base. The dark smoke looks much better than the stock screen. I'll get it out on the freeway tomorrow and test it out. As soon as I installled it it started to rain.

Took a short ride on the freeway yesterday and it seems to work well for me. No buffeting, just better wind protection without being in a tuck. It's odd why all of the manufactures have dragged their feet on stuff for the 14. Puig have listed the screen for th 14 all summer and they still are not shipping.
