zx14 vs Busa Aerodynamics
Was at the store a while ago and was scanning an article in a bike mag on aero comparisons.A few intresting results. The Busa is more effecient than the 14 by a hair. From memory i think it said the busa would require 197hp to do 200mph and the 14 would take 202-203 hp to do 200 mph.One thing i found strange was the Busa was more efficient with rider than without. All other bike tested were opposite.I didnt read the whole article but one rider said the 14 had less buffeting in the normal riding posistion than at full tuck which they liked saying the 14 would make a great sport tourer.I think it was motorcyclist mag.

didnt sport rider or sportbike do a write up on a turbo busa trying to break 200mph and the needed 240hp to break 200....something about the laws of aerodynamics verses hp needed...

don't bang on 'busa's to hard, I'm hoping to trade "up" for one around '08 (or whenever they make the badder bike!)

the turbo busa was 228hp hanh kit went 203.they were just trying to break 200 and they did.with the power they could have reach more but it was on oval track.would be better in straight line to get full speed.

Is a 1375 Busa a stock bore with a stoker crank of some kind? Never heard of a 1375 before...
