Well is anyone planning on any engine mods yet?

Anyone thinking of doing any engine mods yet, Our season is about 1 month from being over here. so I'm thinkinking of going with higher compression pistons and some head work, degree the cams in and a 50 shot of the good stuff(nos). anybody else have anything planned?

I'll bet the mods to the 14 motor won't be nearly as many as the 12 because of the intergrated cylinder. It makes piston kits and simple stuff like that a total bitch.

+1, that pretty much sums it up
i wanted to go with a brolic turbo system, but then i came to my senses... i think this engine is better left alone, aside from the basic bolt on goodies. im convinced to not even run nitrous, although i spoke with skip @ orient express and he said it could handle a pretty good sized shot (i inquired about a 100 shot) i know that theyve already opened up some 14 engines and did some work, so id give them a call and see what the latest news is. so far, i think that im going to stick with cosmetics and handling mods- i dont want to fuck with the reliability or longevity of the engine.

ohhhh Ok I understand the "season" thingie....thought you meant a racing season or such being over. Winter is our nice riding season. Summers are scorching in the helmet/gear

I would like to do a Muzzy stroker kit .. 1500cc+ would do the trick ..... But it will have to wait till i wear this motor out first .....Splitting the cases is no big deal...Most all motorcycles are going to one block and case combo....I bet the NEW Busa if there is one will have the same set up......

I thought the same thing about splitting the cases, I will do the work myself so no big deal on labor cost.
