Yes for both....I would like to see what just wheels would do for my et. I was told by the guy at Marvic wheels that the front is a zx12 wheel and the back is a 04-05 zx10 wheel...so I am assuming you can get some pretty light wheels for the 14. Just think, you could drop another 20-30 pounds off the bike with some light wheels.

Maybe Rickey wants a heavy front wheel.

Dude put the CRACK pipe down!! Maybe 8 to 10 MAX Do some research into what wheels weigh! A very light set of wheels weigh about 20 to 25 pounds font and rear together. SO you're saying the 14's wheels weigh 55 pounds.. All four wheels on the average CAR don't weigh that much.. There seems to be some guys starting a bunch a BS about how much weight you can actually save on wheels. Saving 4 to 5 pounds each is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! Saving 10 to 15 pounds each is a damn complete crock of SHIT!

Gunner :Have you weighed them?....I have. I'm not out to cock fight with guys on this...a zx14back wheel with sprocket and everything "like it comes off the bike" is 39 pounds. I weighed my cousins back wheel on his bike...sprocket and all and it was 26. Ok i can see 2 different bikes..but yes the wheels are heavy..not saying 55 pounds but they are heavy. When I pull them off this winter I will stick them on the postal scale and show some pics. Also I can see when were already talking about race style wheels but the 14's wheels wasnt built like race wheels...
Zrx: He took off 1 caliper and rotor off so i dont think he needs the extra weight on the front. They just found out the wheels are heavy and replaced them.

The 14 wheels are very heavy, the total savings is almost 18 lbs switching to galespeed ultra lights (typeR), Rickey has since ordered a pr of magnesium galespeeds to save a litte more, the galespeeds for a zx10 is about a total 5 to 7 lbs savings as the zx10 wheels are light from the factory.
