crap idle, splutter & stall. Ideas?

Running my 14 with two bros slip on, pc and no flies. Been custom mapped and dynoed. Problem being bike runs fine for 100miles then starts to kick like no fuel, at any speed. If it kicks at idle it dies. If it kicks on a bend I die. Been back to dyno for a fix, but again after 100miles starts again. Any Ideas??

Disconnect the PC and connect OEM the wires back together then see how it runs...

Could be a corrupted map!!!...Or maybe PC is defective???

Welcome Mich...Yes and No...

Sure is...But mostly everyone buys a PC to get the most from their bike...Then when the PC does go bad, all they do is complain

One would have thought that DynoJet would have made plenty of $$$ from the PCs by now to put more R&D into making a better PC???

The full aftermarket exhaust systems, is all good No problems with those

#1 problem with PC failure is damage to the wiring harness due to pinching or crushing from incorrect cable routing...

Someone else on one of the other boards had a similar issue. Turns out it was a poor ground for the PC. It think he fixed the problem by connecting the ground directly to the battery. Maybe check your ground. There have also been 3 or 4 PC's that I've heard about that were giving problems.

Sounds like it could be a ground issue. That happened to me, ran fine then nothing. Check to see that you have a good ground for the PC. If you do, than call DynaJet they where very helpful to me.(By the way, don't ues the cross bar that is on the cylinder head, use the block.)
Good luck.

That is dead on... I though that the cross bar would be a better ground, and I had problems. I thought that mounting behind the plastic overflow bottle would cause problems.. but I have not had any since I moved it. I put it behind the overflow, with a lock washer behind it to keep it tight.. and to make sure there was a good 'bite' to the frame. Also, when the bike wouldn't run, I did notice that the green light was on, on the PC... but it must not have been enough for the PC to work right. So if you trouble shoot... the light will not be a good indication of a good ground. I hope this makes sense.. It is late and I am tired... I have about 2000 miles since I changed the ground... and have not had any problems.

I'ld be careful about just disconnecting the pc.Seems when the butterfly mod just came out, everyone was saying how lean it was.I'ld hate to see someone burn up the motor.
