New member here!

Heard a lot about ZX14.com, so after checking out the site I decided to give it a whirl. The reason for my interest is a new project bike. Spent some time going over all the choices, and after some very late information sessions with Bob at Roaring Toyz, I will be picking up my new black ZX14 tomorrow. Seems like many of the members are into drag/performance on this site so some of the info. will definitely help me build a custom to remember. The choices were numerous and I am happy that I am going to pick up my first new Kawasaki. Every single bike I have owned or customized has been used, beat, wrecked, molested,etc.. Finally a clean slate and, from what I can gather, a great platform to work from. I will post how the bike is coming along, bodywork mods., development of parts that will lead to new custom products, etc.. Hope you enjoy the "build" and I welcome anyones input, good or bad.

Hello, I have learned alot from this site (my first). This is the first bike I've modified almost completely alone without paying someone to do it for me.
It is a great bike, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I/we have.

I am having a custom map made. They are also putting on the 42 tooth rear, and the muzzy frame sliders. I get it back friday, I'll let you know. If I get it all on disk like they said, I'll post the results. I'm hoping for a 10hp gain from the mapping. It should be a freeekin rocket when I get it back.

flatoutbu asked what I am going to do with my new 14, race or street? Neither actually, the bike has "0" on the odometer and it has been tore down for a custom make over. I started it at the dealer and pushed it into the trailer, took it home and now it is in R&D for some VERY
custom products that will be released soon. If you guys and gals don't know what I do I build custom sportbikes, been featured in many articles and ads. I am soaking up all the info I can on the 14 to build an "eye popper". Decided on the 14 because quite honestly the bike looks great modified and everything, for most of all, has been done to the Busa. I hope to launch a smooth, clean, detail oriented custom (sorry no tv's, reapers, or badly upholstered seats). I'll keep you guys posted but cannot reveal all until the end.
