Hey, why was NorthMedic's Pilot Power post pulled?
Just curious as to why it no longer exists? Did I miss something. He brought it up to me & I can't find it.Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough?

I believe freek has contacted you with regards to advertising on the site and has told you several times that it isnt cool for non-site sponsors to advertise their products (directly and indirectly). Accordingly (and in all fairness to the paying sponsors) the post was removed. Please note that it is extremely rare that we ever remove a post, however these rules are clearly defined in our "about us" page and you've been made aware of them several times, and are as follows:

No, I don't have any problem doing this on a public forum. 1st thing. I received 2 e-mails when you guys felt I crossed the line as far as the guidelines go.
2nd thing. I didn't start the post. I didn't see anything that put a product out there for sale on this post. Just a fellow member stating that he received excellent service from my shop. Is this now illegal on this site? I see it pretty regularly all over this site.
3rd thing. I NEVER received any such e-mail offering a solution to help me & my shop w/ this matter. I did receive an e-mail stating that you guys were working on something that would work for the little guys & that freek would get back to me.. I have yet to hear back from him.
I have respected your guidelines.
A member speaks to the forum about how well he was treated & that's not acceptable?
I guess I scare the big advertisers. I absolutely fuckin love that!

The topic in question had more than one post from you "hooking people up". It appeared clear to us that you were selling product and advertising. Call it what you want, fair's fair and we've enforced the same rules for 6 years, so please dont get bent out of shape about it. We try our hardest to apply the same rules to everyone, and our primary goal is to keep the site online, which means keeping the sponsors happy.
If you want to discuss this further, feel free to email us. We don't discuss business like this in a thread.

Just for the record. I was the one who came to you guys 1st. requesting a solution to this exact problem.
I offered to pay for advertising & was denied. I have waited patiently for your solution that was offered & never delivered.
The problem we have here is that I have brought some of my customers to this board. I have made some new customers since being here.When they "praise" my shop for doing them right, they & their post gets vaporized. Nothing was being sold on northmedics post!
We both know that this all goes much further than you'd care to get into on the site.
Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't you give me a call during my business hours & we'll talk.

like I said, drop us an email.. Your shop may be your full time job, but this place isn't our full time job, so drop us an email so we can deal with your issue when we have time available from our real paying work.
