Oil Change
Did my 600 mile oil change a couple of weeks ago - I notice a huge change in engine running temperature (feels cooler), and also noticed shifting is slightly smoother. I used Mobil 1 MTX4 motorcycle oil and used new Kawasaki oil filter (and had to use a paper towel with the oil filter wrench to remove the original oil filter). Has anyone had similiar experiences with a better oil in the bike?

I'm using the mobil1 car synthetic 5-30 works great.

I thought that we had to wait a bit to add the fully synthetic. I have it all my other bikes, but always wait until 5 to 10K.
I love to run the synth due to what Mugsymd says, cooler and better feel in the engine.
What do you guys think about using it this early? I changed my oil at 100 miles and then again at 600. I am coming up on 3000 and will likely change again. Would like to go to syn.

I've had it in mine since 1100 miles at 3900 now bike runs great and runs just s hard.
