Muzzy, customer service, airshifter.
I purchased the airshifter for the ZX14 awhile back from Muzzy. I was the first one to get it. Took me awhile to get the time to install it, but I finally attempted the install yesterday. Well, there were some problems. I'm no ace mechanic, and electrical stuff just confuses me.
The install was pretty easy and straight forward, up to the point where I needed to wire the digi-kill box that kills the fuel injection momentarily to shift the bike.
Problem was, I have one of the first powercommanders from Muzzy, via Schnitz racing. This is a rewried ZX10R powercommander. Well the instructions, although very well layed out and easy to follow, were written for a ZX14 powercommander.
I made several phone calls and was able to get through to the guy that engineered the kit, he sent me numerous photo's that he was going out into the shop and taking, then e-mailing them to me. I still was having problems, so Rob Muzzy personally called his NHRA pro-stock mechanic, who just happens to live in my town, and told him to come to my house and give me a hand. After about a half an hour, we had the bike fired up and shifting perfectly. Now how cool is that??? I got the Muzzy Trim-Tex Pro-stock mechanic working on my bike, in my garage.
Now THAT is what I call customer service!!!! Thanks Rob, and all the guys at Muzzy.
Look for new instructions, with more pictures, to come with the airshifter kits. I know the kits a little pricey, but it's cool as hell, and is fairly easy to install if you have mechanical knowledge, which I don't.
Look for my blue ZX14 to be at the Texas Shootout tomorrow, weather permitting, in Houston.

I think Rob and the "guys" are probably reading the forums and taking notes. If you've had negative dealing with them before, check them out now. They are really trying to improve customer support, and IMHO when way above and beyond.

My son Chad was a Kawasaki Team Green rider in '04 with factory support for two years previous so with Muzzy being a sponsor we got to know him pretty well.
We talked alot during the racing seasons and I can tell you folks, he does care. He reads the boards and visits with the crowds at racing events.
Although he stays busy, he is very sincere in his work and stays on top on what's going on with the street riders as well as racers.
Thanks for the positive post IFLYPHI, glad things got took care of.

I want to know if a business gives a bum steer, but it's just as nice to hear when there is an above and beyond report.

Had some vodoo electrical problems Houston. Probably caused by a combination of a trailer ride over the rought Louisiana roads, and the poaring rain. Bike wouldn't start when I got there. Loaded up and drove home. Figured out that I had a bad digi-kill unit, or a broke one. Muzzy shipped a new one next day air, no charge, and had his mechanic come back over to hook it up.
The new unit I got was the New Digi-kill 2. It's cool as hell. Its encased in red billet aluminum, and looks bullet proof. I'm happy to report that the bike shifts great, fires up just like is used too, no problems. A great kit, and great customer service.

It's electric over air. Will get pics when I'm finished. Trying to find someplace to anodize the bottle blue. Also finishing up install on a Brock sidewinder. Won't be til Friday after next before I can get some pics. I have the instructions that I can e-mail to somebody on the install of the muzzy airshifter if your interested. It has pictures, and is very detailed. Note: The instructions that I have are the old instructions, there have been some changes, so if you order the kit, you will get the latest instruction with updated pics.
