Preparing to change out my stock exhaust
I'm preparing to change out my stock exhaust to a Muzzy full system. I have not received my Service manual that is back ordered - so I'm not sure how much of the fairings need to come off and if the radiator needs to come out to install the header pipes. I was told that the header could be installed without removing the radiator, but it doesn't appear that I can get to the center flange bolts with a swivel and extension. If anyone can share a successful procedure for acomplishing this task - it will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Raptor 14 put together very detailed directions I used for my Brock's GEN3, and all I can say is these directions are AWESOME. Even tells the order to remove and size tools to use. Although they are for Brocks, the details for removing the plastic are there all the same.
I took all my plastic off. I had no need to remove or even loosen the radiator to remove the old exhaust or to install the new.
The directions can be found at:

I agree, normally I would have a manual in hand. I guess I'm just getting a little tired of waiting with the new exhaust in the box and not knowing for sure when the manual will come in. Plus I felt for sure that I would find good information and assistance here.

Remove all the lower fairing panels from both sides. Unscrew the horn bracket and the lower radiator mount. Undo the rad' top bolts a little and swing the radiator forward with the hoses attached. You will have just enough room to get at the headers with a socket on an extension with a universal joint. Take good care not to damage the radiator fins. The whole job should only take a couple of hours. Good luck.

I got the stock pipe off and the new one on and only pulled the one lower rad bolt (allowed lower rad to pull out about 1.5"). It took two extensions (I think it was two 6" extensions) and a swivel...worked great. did remove lower fairings but thats all besides the lower rad bolt. No damaged fins and only took about an hour.
