zxbob... He said it is 300 horse and around $5000... There is a thread on here that he says who makes it and gives the number. I can't remember exactly where it is. It was yesterday I believe...

Well guys if your interested in a turbo kit for your ZX then call Harry at American Turbo Performance. Their located in Van Nuys, Calif. 818-785-2900

I put a couple hundred miles on the bike this past weekend just to try and get it over 500 miles so it could be serviced and Dyno'd. The kit for the 14 is awesome and its estimated
at approx 300 hp with 6 lbs of boost. When the Dyno pull is done I will post real numbers, as well as a video of the Dyno run.

Swift - I hope you dont mind the post, but this is an awesome kit tor the 14 and anyone who is interested in some excellent drivable H.P.

Dubious - Do you know if they are using the stock air box to build the Boost in. Or did they add a surge tank ??? I guess there is a vented regulator. I don't think you can go too high on pump gas but I could be wrong. Mine was only an 810cc motor. I had detination problems if I used anything but Sunoco Purple 116 Octaine (right out of the pump here). But I was pushing 22lbs when set at full tilt. I think a video is in order here. I want to see the riders arms stretch out and hold on lol. It will bring back memories. I see allot of turbo Busa's here all stretched out. I would love to see how that bike will do against a Busa with the bolt on turbo kit. Video Video Video Please....................

The kit does use the stock air box. All holes and openings are sealed and the compressor
side of the turbo is plumbed thru the right side ram air opening in the frame.

Max boost i've found is 6 lbs for pump gas - you can turn it up for race gas, but we dont
want to find out "how much" yet. Any higher boost on a stock wheelbase = "unicycle"

Bob stock pistons etc?
Have you gone internal yet?

Multi stage boost?
Intercooled?
What size compressor?

Do they sell a kit. ?
does include the header?

I think I better just call them!

Motor is bone stock rite now - They will go into the motor as parts become available, "or" as needed.

No multi stage controller - no room for intercooling and the turbo is a hybrid t-3 / t-4 ball bearing garrett. The Turbo kit they sell is complete less electronics, and yes, a very nice
ss header !

Next time you have the fairings off, can you post pics?
What type of blow off valve and wastegate?
How is the turbo lag? Good throttle response?
It must needa a piggyback injector set up, and fuel pump?
