Bought the wife a ninja 250

Well bought the wife a ninja 250 yesterday, 2005 with 2500 miles on it 1600.00 I put it together out of the crate and then the guy who bought it tipped it over at about 5mph. broke the foot peg, turn signal and small scuff in on body panel. took her down today and taught her how to ride. She learned on my SDG fast 50. She did good never crashed and learned how to shift and use front brake, etc. She had a smile on her face the whole time.

My wife rides, also. Makes things a bit easier. Usually...The wife graduated to the 650R Ninja. A very cool bike.

The 250 is a great bike. I still have one I use for a rat/run-around bike. Cheap and fun.

Congrats.!

A friend of mine uses one of those Ninja 250 bikes as primary transportation and pretty much beats it to death 100% of the time. I asked about gas mileage he said "65-70 MPG". I said wow, how many miles is on your bike? He said "a little over 12,000, and still running strong"

Makes me want one too

I put a full Muzzys, jet kit, and K&N on mine. Strengthened the mid-range a good bit and it runs strong for a 250 4-stroke. I get about 60 mpg, and run the snot out of it. Great fun and I don't have to worry about it.
