196 yesterday on gps/ 198 this week

ran saturday morning- gearing was one up on front sprocket and one up in rear do to wrong rear shipped. first run with slight tail wind was 195mph on gps. the second was 196 due to slight longer run. video of run and gps on board showed gps at speed and when put to a stop watch timing number increase 191, 192, 193 194 195 196 showed that it slowed by a half a second roughly as the numbers increased. according to the pattern it was going to hit 197 but ran out of room and shut down just before it should of clicked up. tach was reading 10,600 rpm. acorrding to dyno graph a top run would be bettered if geared another tooth or to down on rear to bring rpm down to 10,200 where hp is up 3 and torque is up 6 lbs. although it will take a half mile more probly to pull the gear. this week we shall see. after i see i will hit the dry shot that should most certainly put me in the very small club of tru 200 on the road. bike has 186hp with very flat line and happens just to run well at speed, so we should know in the next few days. if i dont do it im going on a crack diet to lose 100lbs and get too 150lbs.

Well on paper it would be 207 at the rpm. So it looks like the bike is actually 10mph off. My bike should be make close to if not the same as yours in the power department. I took the bike to 10800 with the stock gearing. Like yours it kept pulling slowly. On paper thats 204. So i would take about 10mph off . 194 is that bad to say it was still pulling. Im surprised to see your bike pull like it is with the gearing. With enough room you should be able to hit the 200 mark. Good luck to you. I know thats some think i would like to experience one day.

Well when I can hit the limiter at 186mph in 5th, you can only expect somewhere right around 200mph if it wasn't governed.

I had my bike all out and felt it cut out on me. I have no speedo healer yet or GPS, but it was freekin fast. I did it with the flies and without. I am going to buy the healer today or tomorrow when I find the post on where to buy from.
