I like the vibrations/sensation of the 14 when braking so hard the back wheel comes up no matter how hard I tried to preload it with the back brake

I've got about 8800km (5500mi) on mine and it's been vibrating when brakling for the past 1 or 2 thousand km. In no way am I, or have I been, hard on the brakes. Allways very gentle one finger braking.

I'm gonna have the dealer change the rotors as soon as winter ends. They had better be under warranty or I'll have a hissy fit.

I'm gentle on my sportbike brakes too~

I'm hard on them occasionally and I haven't had any problems, so good luck with the dealer replacing the rotors, they shoud! check the usual stuff though such as tire pressure/wear, head bearings, pad wear, etc etc

I isolated the vibration. It happens every time. Around here they use cement in the intersections and asphalt on the roads so you get a small bump in the asphalt ( look for one about 4" high/10 inches long) at the intersection. If you brake hard over this bump it sets up a vibration in the fairing. Its not the brakes. The brakes are not oscillating. The rotors are dead flat. The vibration is coming from those big ol mirrors bouncing up and down. When your bike drops down over the far edge of the bump you get a lot of extra downward force, the hard braking adds even more downward force. Since the downward side of the bump ends abruptly those big heavy mirrors want to jump back up.

Go try it. If you get it done, post it here.... After you get it done several times in a row try pulling the mirrors in. It will quit.

my brakes squeak under about 10mph, too! my front end is very bumpy and vibraty under braking from approx 25mph to stop. This is hard braking, soft-medium braking, etc. What is it caused by?

I used to get a squeak around 10mph whether braking or not. I greased my front axel and bearings and it seemed to stop.

I get a vibration at times too. I also think it's the frame or the forks flexing. I don't think it's my brakes oscillating. It only does it about 10% of the time for me and seems to be triggered by braking over a bump. I started noticing it around 5,000mi. Since I replaced the front tire I haven't noticed it, but it's only been a couple of days.

Well I'll say that there's nothing about this bike that would stop me from buying one again. If I was planning on doing competitive Grand Prix racing it might be a problem, but other than that it's only a minor annoyance at worst.

Tell someone who gives a fuck, moron...how old are you anyway...12? Ever ride a bike before or know what one looks like? Sure doesn't sound like it....you just spew nonsense and babble about my mother. How the fuck do you know what she rides? (idiot) Get a life...you wanked out fuck, you sound like a major .

Go learn how to speak, write and spell.

Far as asking for opinions on 3 bikes, you forgot to ask the about Honda Cub, which is more your speed...now, bring your chain and "wrap" it around my "god forsaken" mouth.

neme-sissy's new Super sportbike ride...

Gixxer is just too uncomfortable for me, expecially 2-up. Power is still very impressive and handling is a little better if you're an advanced rider.
