Oh Ya! 9.55 at 149.89

Well went back out today and finally started getting my act together ran 9.55 at 149.89. Ran 120 and some change to the 1/8. I had a 1.68 60 ft. Let my buddy jump on it who wheighs 22 lbs more then me. I'm 210 unsuited this morning And he is 232. He had a 1.58 60ft and ran a 9.586 at 147 and some change. So now I know if I have a 1.60 60ft I can run in the 9.40s. for those who don't remember my set up I have the Brock Smeg with powercommander, quickshifter and Muzzy lowering links, forks slide up 1.25 inches and strapped. running pilot power rear with 36 psi.

I've been to keith code classes and recieved invites to wheelies schools. But this dragging thing is appealing. Any school/class to learn dragging?
.
I gotta think this experience has to drip down to faster starts on the street. I mean in a pinch yunno. Not that street dragging is legal.

WOW!!!
I read your post several times and all I keep seeing is "some et" @ 149.89.
That puppy is making some major power for having a pipe and pc!
Yep, keep working on the 60' and you're easily in the 9.4's.

Bently still at stk wheelbase? Stk gearing and flies in? WOW!
Let me in on your secret, do you feel the Smeg pipe and PC3 mapped correctly
are a huge part of those kind of times?
I'm trying to get fast enough to run a 9.50 index class, we are the same size,
so it would help to know all you have done or experienced.
I've gotten a few 1.68 60' times already bone stk, just lowered. Consistent 1.72 60's,
so I'm assuming I just need the power to get there now.

What were both of your 330' times on those runs, meaning you and your buddies?

Halvefast, I am geared stock and stock wheelbase. but my flies are removed. My 330 time was 4.23 and my buddies was 4.18. Thought about going to a 16 tooth sprocket, don't know if that will help much or not. And yes if you want to go 9.50's get the Smeg and powercommander and run Brocks map and you will be there. I also ran with my mirrors on, so if I remove those 150.00mph might have been there. I know now after my buddies 1.58 60 ft I can go 9.40's if not a high 9.30.
