Has anyone messed with the airfilter yet? or intake? I've been helping my friend on his CBR1000 and changing to a K&N air filter, and removing the plastic flap that goes over his air intake to restrict air flow. what is available (I can't find) for the 14? What mods can be done there?

stock air filter I removed the perforated metal plate from the outlet side of the filter & insulated the bottom of the air box (frame) from the front to where the rubber inlet stacks to the throttle bodys are. I doubt that the free area of the plate is over 50% of the total filter outlet area with the plate in place.

I ripped the backfire screen off the stock filter too.
Mine was pretty dirty so I ordered one last week...
