Ping FastestBusa--Gen3 Question.
Quick question. I was looking at the pics of the Gen3, Please tell me that the midpipe is not chrome. From the pics of the 'Ti' thread, it looks chrome. The reason I'm asking is because it's getting a couple good thick coats of Hi-temp flat black paint(on the Mid-pipe) as soon as it arrives. The brushed steel will be much easier to paint than the chrome. Cant do the chrome or polished look.

The one I've seen was not chromed either

From Brock's page regarding the Gen3:
The front section (from the engine to the Muffler) is constructed of an aerospace quality ultra-light stainless steel. The standard StreetSmart package comes with a 20 inch long Titanium Oval Race Muffler. The total system weight is just over 8lbs.

Not chrome...stainless, polished. Look at the pictures I took last night on the thread "Muzzy TI Installed"
This aint no Hardly Davidson ya know...  "Chrome won't get ya home" :P

thanks for the input...I had read on the site the same thing, but it appeared to be highly polished or chromed on your bike. Just making sure.

No chrome...only on my HOG...(cuz it can't do much else except look good huh?)

I just don't like cleaning it. It's cool on cruisers/HOGs.
