Not disappointed 5.80 @ 123
Yep went out Saturday night run 5.86 @ 123 I don't know what the guy is talking about
disappointed mods Brocks Genesis 3 air shifter pc3 strapped & lowered 60 ft 145. Had
a problem with the rear end height wanted to run the lowest hole but was afraid it would
rub. Going out next week should run 140 60 ft times. Air temp 95 degrees, correction
factor 1.0750 rider 180 pounds. Refactored this run to STD 5.65 @ 125.50 waiting
for cooler weather.

AWESOME!!!
I have GOT to come watch you guys run sometime.
Kennedale?
There's a guy on "another" board that goes to Yello Belly on Sat. nights.
He's not running close to your times, but he's doing well for what mods and seat time he has.
Again awesome!

I like the atmosphere and excitement of Yello Belly better than any track I've ever been to. The only problem is the track surface. It has very unreliable traction for a motorcycle with power. Also, the time slips often miss the 60' times.
If those things were fixed, I'd go no place else.

Crotch Rocket.......Yes it is a red ZX14 I have an 04 ZX12 & yes I also run those gears
on it too, and it will do 139/140 60 ft times. So I am sure that the 14 will do this too.
We are having a little problem with adjusting the shock and where to set the lowering
lengths. We ran a turbo busha & a turbo GXR 1000 and beat both, they were street
bikes not drag bikes. We have put 4000 miles in 4 months on the bike that should
qualify us as a street bike.

I would go to Kennedale , Seven Points or Green Valley when i lived there ..Green Valley was the best 1/4 mile in TX , to bad it's gone ...I was points winner at Seven Points years ago with a small block 331cid 69 Nova called White Line Fever..I guess you can guess my age ...lol..

smoking,
Kennedale is probably as good a track as there is. I've only heard talk of Green Valley, and all of it good. It was gone before I got here. Seven Points is a good Harley track.
From the people who talk about Green Valley, I would say you're not too much younger than I am.
By the way, I guess I've partially hijacked this thread, but Rich Craft is my friend and maybe he won't mind too much.

Rich craft 1, your 5.86 in the 1/8 is about a 1/10 quicker than Shine went on Brock's bike at the 1/8 mile mark, you would have done an easy 8.90 or so in the 1/4, great job!
