kleen air question

hi
i am thinking of removing the reeds, and the kleen air from the airbox and connecting to the crankcase breather
question there is an electrical connection to a valve between the reeds on the rocker cover, so is it ok to leave this connection dis connected when the valve , etc is removed

It is OK to unplug the KLEEN VALVE and leave it unplugged. When you put on your block off plates leave the reeds in. If you are not using plates just unplug the valve and unhook the hoses. The reeds will keep the exhaust from comming back through the system. If you want just remove all the hoses and put caps on the stock plates.

If you want to go from the crankcase vent to the airbox, no big deal, was done lots with the 12R.
You don't want to leave the Air Switching Valve unplugged. You'll be throwing codes if you electrically disconnect it. What you could do is cap the inlet to the air switching valve and leave the hosing from it to the heads intact.
