Mechanics that is . So here it is, I went looking for any post of yours where it could be said that you knew anything mechanical like what is LSA on zx14 cam, what is the total timming of the ZX14 ,stuff like that. RR... you're a moron. Go vent elsewhere. No, I don't design cams... never claimed to... go bark up another tree. I've posted plenty of useful content here since I joined almost a year ago, how about you? Don't get pissed that nobody answered your questions, maybe it wasn't worth their time.

I have nothing to prove to you.

This is a statement:

"This is not worth my time."

This is a qualified statement:

"IMO, this is not worth my time."

This is a question:

"Is this worth my time?"

Road Rash... I was one that added a smart comment to the thread you are mostly talking about here... (About the color of your key.... ) It was intended to be having fun with you... not AT you... I am sorry.. I did not know that you took some of that post serious. I thought most were being sarcastic... howbeit alittle extreme...
I am very sorry to hear of your Father's passing... I hope that over the next few days you will find strength from your family... and over the next month I hope that you are able to deal with the issues at hand... It is not easy losing a parent... and after the first week of all of the drama... everything else just goes back to 'normal', except your father is still gone... I really wish you the best... Now why don't you take a few moments and shut this thread down and deal with your important issues... You know as well as I do that the guys in here that you are frutrated with or angry with are just a computer screen. They may be smart and cool... or they may be wanna bes... It is just a computer screen... Almost everyone on here has offered anger, stupidity and some quality posts... take the good with the bad... Don't let a stupid computer get you personally!!! Take care and let this go!!!!

RR - I guess you've got better things to do today than to keep up with this thread... that's understandable. Luckily, I have yet to lose a parent, so I can't say that I know exactly what you are going through right now, but I can certainly empathise with your pain.

This board is somewhat represents an odd, extended family, and there's no way that everyone will always get along. If you haven't already noticed, there's quite a bit of sarcasm flying around here (that was a little bit right there, in fact). For some reason, when you posted your requests for information (we'll stay away from the "q" word for now), several people, myself included, decided to give you a bit of a run-around because of your lack of specific clarity. Several people replied with comments giving you a "hard time", but for some reason, you decided to focus on my statements... who knows why, but if you need an outlet to vent your anger right now, feel free. We'll all still be that odd, extended family when it's over.

The bottom line is that none of the sarcastic comments made affected whether or not your questions got answered. Most likely they didn't get answered because nobody actually knew the answer. Over time, I'm sure that others will venture into the areas that you inquire about... just give it time, the bike's still pretty new to be messing with cams and altered timing.

Best wishes (really).

RR sorry about your dad, lost my dad exactly one year ago today, and we were very close. If it was not for my father I would not know what dragracing was, he put me in a 9 second car the day I turned 16, and it went on from there, ended up in an alcohol funny car. You will pull through and it gets easier.

I lost my father, too.
I won't go into details, I'll just say it was not a natural cause, and it was very untimely.
I was 25 years old, he was 47, I was just beginning to grow up and get my shit together, and was looking forward to a long friendship and another 25 years together...
We didn't see eye to eye, during adolescence and my early adulthood, so i really felt cheated.
My daughter was born VSD, a heart condition, 2 weeks before he passed, so I was under alot of stress to begin with, then bam, an officer is at my door one night to tell me my BEST friend is gone forever.
I was in disbeleif, then angry... extremely angry... at the whole world.
anyway
3b & 3b offers some very sound advice, as has zermatt.

Time my friend, it takes time to heal, be cool, and love the familly or friends you have, cherish the moments you had with him, and dwell on the good experiences, not what could have been.
Could have beens will eat you up.... don't dwell on that.

Sorry for the loss, and hope you have a good support from friends and familly,
We are all human, sometimes we are not nice people, sometimes we are.
Irregardless we will all still be here, and I really feel the majority of us really are a good bunch...
Hang tough, and best wishes!
Lyle.

Best thoughts your way...
It sucks and NO one can say they know how you feel, all we can say is we know how we felt or can imagine how bad it can feel...
Take care of your family, it never gets better, you just get used to it.

Road rash........ Sorry for your loss.
Now is not the time to act like a punk
Be a man and take care of your family and respect your father last wishes if any,
If you feel like Zermatt somehow disrespected or did wrong by you have it out with him later.
