Blue is my favorite color. The dealership here got 1 ZX-14 in, red. He actually got the bike in for me, although I never ordered one. I have a red 00 ZX-12R and he thought I would upgrade to the 14. What can I say? I have a red 12 and a red 14, best of both worlds.

Actually I wanted "Pink". You know what that means don't you? Oh my gosh. It means we're worldly, involved, up on the latest trends, sophisticated, sensitive, passionate and loving. Now don't you want a man like that? Of course we're here in the Bay area and what starts here always spreads eastwardly. You should know that from your schoolin. ????????????????????????? Has someone's computer been hyjacked??!!!!! Goodness I hope so... hey fly.... I appreciate your ability to share your inner being on here with all of us 'happy' People... However I will say that Reggie White said it best when he said... I'll just take a quick nap... no, that's not it.. he said that you can't choose to be black, or hispanic... but you can choose to be gay... and I will say that you have probably guessed what my choice is. Enjoy your life.. and I mean that... but don't go spreading evil propaganda on a thread in here just to get a rise... and I don't mean that in the physical sense. You may spread whatever you like in the privacy of your home... it is your life.. and you can take that in whatever context you choose... but if Kawi offers a pink 14... then if we add that and the tsunamis, earthquakes and war ,it is definate proof that the END is near!!! (no pun intended)... and yes I am from Wisconsin and I am a Packer fan... but not in the sense that some may take it??!! So get your pink bike... and do whatever 'riding' that you choose... but for me and my house.. we will serve the Lord.... I will not join you to release the man in me.... since there is only, and has only been one man in me!! Thanks for the affection.... in your closing... but a nice hand shake will do just fine. I got black - the first 14 in California. i got it a week before many dealerships. I wanted black so I paid for it in Feb.
I must say that red looks best with emblems, stickers, and logos.
Blue looks best with lights in engine, rims, etc.
Black looks best plain.

When did you get yours .......... I also gave a dealer 12K for the first ZX, but, there
was no guarentee of color. None of the dealers knew what color bikes they were
getting.

Zxbob, I went through Advanced Kawasaki. I was told he knew it was black, and so I left my deposit. He called me a week before and told me it was coming.

I doubt your 14 was the first in California. Jay Leno has his up at the Rock Store long before you got a black one.

Whether my bike was 1st in Tampa or the last to be sold, its a mute point. I Love it!

I had the first Busa in Tampa back in the day. The motorcycle shop on the highway between Clearwater and St petersburg got one in back in the day and I had just bought a cbr1100xx. I showed up to the Clearwater bike night and he said if you want it, come before 9:00am or it will be sold, and I bought it.
Jay got his after mine.
