Getting Better 9.73 @146.79 Well Just got home from the track and my best was a 9.73 @ 146.79 And that was on my last run of the night, think I can go 9.60's next time out! Getting the 60 foot down better, I stepped on the scale before going to the track and I was 218 in my undies.

Nice job! I' m about the same size and still in the 10teens, but pretty consistent though, I made it to the semi-finals last night!

My 60 ft is not as good as it should be yet, that's my problem and that's why i know it will go at least low 9.60's with my weight. my 60 ft was a 1.723

Bently if you even suspect you're slow I'll share this story with you....
I tried my first 4 passes ever down the strip Wednesday. I was very much humbled as my times were horrible! With practice I'm confident I'll get quicker (since its my new addiction I'll get plenty of practice). I only got to 100 MPH in the 1/8th. LoL...Sure looks easier on speed channel than it is!
Its weird because its so simple for me to beat all these cars that insist on racing off quick from red lights, to include vettes, vipers, every flavor mustang GT including the supercharged Cobra, etc etc.
But wow I realized how slow I truly launch when I got on that track. I'm 6'2" and only weigh 178 so no excuses for me there either.

Stevewfl you will get there, practice is what it takes, I can say next time out I will be in the 9.60s, then I gotta ride my bicycle a little more so I can get down to 190 unsuited!
