Amber alert.
I noticed the Amber alert on the top of the 14 Forum, I'm amazed....I've got to say this is the absolutely coolest thing I've ever seen on any site(moto related or not). Huge Props to the Bikeland folks for looking out for the kids and assisting Law enforcement and the families of those children.
Beyond Amazing, and Thank you.

You mean you like that more than Dale's lame Google Ads? His answer to having a better site is to BRING Spam onboard to advertise. Geeez

I like the fact it is there, I question why when I posted the Whitmore thread it had not been activated when the Canada Wide Amber Alert had been going for hours....
And FYI, Peter Whitmore and the two kids were recovered (alive) last night.
Police credit recovery of boys to Amber Alert System and Media.
Sask Farmer heard the Alerts and noticed a Van matching desc. parked near one of his empty farm houses.
Called RCMP.
When they arrived, 10 year old ran from bushes to the safety of the Police.
14 year old came out of house later after stand off, followed by Whitmore.

And as for Bluefords comment and subsequent removal of thread (Kill Peter Whitmore) to Smack House.
I had no intention for thread to become a Smack Down.
My intent was to get info of this piece of human sludge out there in hopes that
#1 Amber Alert would be activated
#2 Information is Power, and many members, such as myself do NOT visit the Smack House, and Visitors Can NOT go into Smack House whereas they do check zx14 for info, and the title of the thread would intrigue people to check out thread.
If my thread offended anyone (other than Blueford) I apologise.

scifi.... are you asking why the alert was not running in the banner on this site? if you are it's because that banner only covers US alerts, and in fact not all states... it's kinda complicated but nuts and bolts are that the banner is provided 3rd party because the govt run amber alert program does not use the web for alerts yet...

Thanks for the feed back.
It's a shame that the "Government" can't get off their Asses and just get it done, both here in Canada and in the U.S. Far too important an issue to piss about.
