throttle bodies I'm curious if the 12/14 throttle bodies are interchangable.Everyone wants to play with the butterflies but why not put a set of 12 tb's on and its 2mm bigger to boot.

Bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to throttle bodies...

And do what with the all wiring/electronics for the secondaries???
same thing everyone is doing now,I assumed there is just a servo motor to open the butterflies, just tuck it out of the way still connected. My 2000 doesn't have the secondaries so I'm not sure about what sensors may be on the 14.Just musing over the thoughts.

And the throttle cables and TPS sensors and all that. Would any of that even be close to interchangeable? How about the actuall connectors, more trouble than its worth I am sure...

I might be able to make a larger throttle bodies, but it may not make a difference if the intake runners are the limiting factor. Anyone have a head and throttle body I can put on the flow bench ?
