Thanks for all the pointers but I don't use the clutch and I understand how hard dragracing is been doing it for 20 yrs, been in the 5's at 230 in the 1/4. Just frustrates me how much easier the busa was to launch then the 14. I could 1.60 to 1.62 all day on the Busa. But I will get there. I can see 9.60 even weighing 220. And Tool man I would not want to lose more then 20lbs as I'm not fat, just work out a little bit.

How long did you have the busa? That could be a reason why it was so much easier to launch. My zx9 was a hell of a lot easier to launch than my K6 but not anymore. Still getting use to the 14.

Nightmare, I ran 9.90 bone stock on my Busa the first night to the track, on my 3rd run. with a 1.65 60ft. I'm sure with some more seat time I will get the 14 figured out. But to me it is a harder bike to ride in the first 330 ft

I'm right with you there, 220lbs stripped, bone stk lowered ZX14, 775lbs. bike & rider in leather.
Best pass to date 1.69 60ft 10.13 @ 139, DA3100 94 degrees RH 33%
Goal is to be in the 9's by summers end completely stk.
After I run anyone close in ET (ZX14 or Busa) I ask them to run across the scale I'm usually 40-50lbs. heavier than them.

Bently what are you doing to get such a good ET with similar 60ft. to me?

Halvefast, bone stock and lowerd my best was 10.06 at 140 and some change that was with a high 1.7 something 60 ft. If I could got a 1.69 I would have been in the 9.90's. I have a Brock Smeg and powercommander now.
