ZZr1400 is the Euro name for the same bike, Right?
They are always referred to by both names - ZX1100 - ZX1200 -ZX1400 /ZX11 -ZX12 - ZX14. I see it that way on several reviews.
My question is when did the Busa Reign supreme for a decade? Very few bikes get that honor such as the V-Max (in its respective category), ZX-11 1989-1999, etc. I guess The faster you go, the faster you age?

I agree. There are several bike who were great for a limited time. Such as the Honda Magna V65 which was sick fast for a cruiser in 1983-1985 with around 120hp. Then the V-max kicked its ass. Honda has short runs like the CBR1100 XX who got killed by the Busa (and I don't think it De-throned the ZX11 impressively). But very few DECADE bikes.
I'm curious to know why the first Zx14 bought at Del Amo Motorsports in Redondo Beach, Ca. was picked up by Honda Research And Development here in Torrance Ca.
Are they gonna get back in the mix soon?

Nope, the faster you go the slower you age relative to everyone else.

the only reason it would win even with ameteurs at the strip is because kawi lawyers got involved,
The lack of power below 6000 rpm, and poor clutch control, is what is hurting most people ET's.

Pull the flies and drop the clutch at 3500 rpm.............................

Isn't that why people are removing the butterfly valves? to make the power instant like the Busa?

The French Bureaucrats got blamed in a recent article I read for threatening Kawa with some huge ban on hp, at the Paris MC Show in 1999. That resulted in the 12 being introduced with no press or publicity allowing go fast, etc.
Looks like they are doing the same thing with the 14, worse in some ways, flies, no press speed info/specs.
And look at the numbers when we add pipe, PC, remove flies. WOW.
I wish LeoVince would hurry up.
