I guess the US is more lenient when it comes to speed. I got busted by a radar fixed mounted camera for 51kph in a 40kph zone!!!! like that is about 3mph over the limit....OK it was a school zone but it had like 2 minutes to revert back to a 60kph or 35mph zone and there were no people about let alone children. I got a $220 fine and 3 points off my 12 point over 3 year licence. For over 45kph ober the limit here or 25mph you get $1500 fine and 3 months disqualification.

We just had a guy here in town got a new 636. Cop popped him 96 first time then 101 second(I'm seeing a trend)time. When he stopped he gave some lame story about going home. In the wrong direction then told him it was new and was just opening it up a little. Then they put him in the cruiser and off to jail. US easier my ass.

There are so so many issues that can affect possibility of conviction, here in the Great White North, or south of the Border in the US of A.
NEVER plead guilty right away, ask for full disclosure then formulate your defence.
NEVER give a statement if you ARE guilty
and for God's sake, be polite to da man...
Law is not Black and White (regardless of what Rodney King said lol) it is full of grey, and that is where ou formuate your plan of attack....

Smokin they didnt take your license on the spot?90 percent of the riders around here just blast off when the cops hit brakes, i dont think its worth it but to each his own.
