It's normal, it bleeds down and pumps back up when first started.

Yep, its normal for hydraulic tensioners. Not a problem. Issue has been discussed often. Enjoy the bike. Got 2,000 miles now and haven't had any problems.

Ya, I just started getting that rattling noise too right after I changed to Motul 10-50 synthetic, I hope its normal because it sounds really bad. It goes away after I rev it a little. I start engine, let it warm up for about 3-4 minutes without reving it hearing the noise the whole time. then I just give it a tiny turn of the throttle up to 2500 rpm for a second then the noise goes away. I have 5000 miles on it and I never heard this noise until I changed the oil to synthetic, about the last 400 miles/3 weeks.

oooow,
my rattle clears up after about 10-20 seconds depending how long it sat, or how cold the engine is.

I heard it several times before and after I switched to synthetic. After my first major trip at about 2500 miles I never heard it again. Amsoil 20W-50
