Rob, is it true that you are going to develop, or already have developed a match switching "box" for guys that have the PC and want to be able to push a button and switch to another map "on the fly'??
This would be great for the like of a dryshot of nitrous. You could have the biked mapped for the pipe, then make a seperate map for when you hit the button. No more pushing buttons twice on the PC to richen up the mixture.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That would be Dynojet.

MUZZYS does not have any device that will switch maps on a power commander. The unit Doug Meyer spoke of in his article is a new product soon to be released, stay tuned.

The price first posted of 189.95 for the ZX-14 was my fault. The inventory staff came to me for pricing and I mistakenly looked up our production costs for the 06 ZX-10. Based on that I gave them Dealer and Retail pricing. It was when the sales staff brought it to my attention that people where complaining about the high price that I realized what had happened and corrected the problem. No body paid the higher price.

vegasdude- You are living proof that it is not possible to make everybody happy. Have you read my post? If you did, are you telling me that you e mailed for a map and did not get it? Since you are not a customer and have chosen to crusade against us, you would be the most likely person not to get a map from us. SO, I CHALLENGE YOU TO E MAIL MUZZYS AND REQUEST A MAP, ANY MAP THAT WE HAVE. I am positive you will receive it just like everyone else has. Of course if you don't your previous posts will actually be true and shame on us. The real question is will you be man enough to admit it if you do get the map.

Of course I would be man enough to admit it if I would get the map. The facts are your customers have stated that they would not receive the map unless they bought a PC3 from you and I think that is the wrong way to treat your customers. I do appreciate your response to this thread. It does show that you do care about customer service and hopefully you have corrected the situation. I am in the customer service business myself and believe in going overboard for my customers. Do you think your employee's handled this right in the first place? I don't think so. Are you trying to fix it. I think you are. Now Rob, another thing some of my posts were serious, especially the one about not giving maps to people who buy your pipes but, other posts you have to take tougue and cheek. I am NOT doing a crusade against you, I made a personal statement for me. If you start to send maps out when people buy your maps, without the PC3, then I change my attitude on your company. Besides Rob, you have a great name out there and I do respect that. I do apologize if I caused you any grief. One thing that I have always lived by "Give honor to whom honor is due" and Rob, I do think you personally have a great reputation. So hopefully you and I can sort this out, if so just to extend my hand, I will order a set of frame sliders from you so you can see that I can be man enough to solve this situation. Is that fair enough, or do I have to order a pipe? HAHA....................but seriously, I think that this was a good discussion and cleared the air.

I can tell already this is going to be the new "ivan" thread. A thread that won't die. FYI i'm at a base that has 18 computers hooked up, and one IP address. So if the other pilots happen to post on here also, same ip address.
As far as who has access to "my" computer, everybody that walks in. It is in the admin's office and the spare pilots, flight nurses, just about anybody that walks in can use it. If you don't log out of Bikeland, then they're are posting using your nick.
The way Rob was able to contact me is that my nick is the same as my e-mail address, and Dave Turner has my contact information as I'm waiting on parts there. Kind of a no brainer.

I think we are losing site of something here and that is free speech. Obviously, the post that was made was wrong, and mis-informed. However, if you have problem with somebody's product, before you go posting negative comments about it on a website, you should contact the manufacturer. Maybe you installed it wrong, or maybe they can fix the problem. If all else fails, and you feel the part doesn't live up to yours and everybody else's expectations, then share it with us.

Most of us are just bored, can't ride because of work, rain, wife took the bike keys. I come on here looking for information to help me get the best possible times out of my ZX14 at the track, considering I SUCK!!!!
I also like to share with the members my experience installing parts, what works for me, and what doesn't. Sometimes my buying decisions are based on what I read here and elsewhere. In the case of the Muzzy pipe there were two factors involved in my purchase. One was the cost, it's about $400 less than Brocks pipe, and two was availability, he was the only one that had them out when I bought. As far as performance, I DON'T HAVE A CLUE as to if it works better or worse than the competition. But for $400 less, I was able to buy a NOS kit, and that will definately make up for loss horsepower.

What my friend posted was what we were probably both thinking out loud. On the SAME bike, under the SAME conditions, and the SAME dyno, which pipe makes the most Hp for the dollar. Mine made 168Hp at $600, that about 3.57 dollars per Hp. If you want to say that it increased my stock Hp by X, then it would be 600/X=$perHp
I think that would be the BEST measure of gains. We all know you can have a superduper custom Titanium Graphite exhaust customed designed, and it would cost you thousands of dollars, for maybe 10 more Hp. In my book its all about dollar for Hp, and there no way you can beat Muzzy for that.

Its done, over kaput, finetto..... FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rob, or whoever is using his screen name has explained things, take it or leave it...
All big and small companies make clerical and information mistakes.
The mark of a man is not the mistake he makes, but what he does once the mistake is made.
I was one of the people given mis-information by Curt, and I went elsewhare, but my frame sliders (from Muzzy) arrived today and I am pleased with them.
I will no doubt order from muzzy again, I will NOT deal with Curt as ifound him to be a rude ignorant prick who spoke down to me in a matter of factly tone, so i gusee dave turner gets the next kick at the cat.

can we start talking about something else??

And "iflyphi" you really need to kick you pal ass! lol

I wish. I just fly helicopters. Currently flying an EMS equipped Sikorsky S76 out of New Orleans.
There was a guy on here or another forum that flew fighters, gawd I'd love to do that. My eyes weren't good enough so it was helo's for me. No in EMS I sit around all day waiting for the pager to go off. Real boring, but the pay me exactly the same whether I fly or not.
I used to drag race years ago and did some races on Las Vegas speedway before they remoddled it. Nice track, but OMG, 120 in the shade and black leathers don't mix. It was kind of neat though to watch the thunder birds practice.

My "evil twin" got to go home yesterday and I got stuck here doing mandatory workover. No racing for me tonight. But look for my times from this weekend. Gonna have a pro ride the bike and see what he can do. I'm such a tard I can only do 1.60 60' times.

And that should be a lesson to you all. Don't let the wife or kids play on the computer, they could ruin your reputation. Not that I had one to begin with LOL

As far as my "pal" goes, I was gonna fill in for him next week and fly our "spare" back up to Virginia. 8 hours of sheer boredom, but not now. You can look for him next Friday, flying a Bell 412, on about a 084 degree heading from New Orleans. I could tell you where he is going to stop for gas, but I don't want you guys to kick his ass before he gets the helicopter back up to FREDRICKSBURG, VA....SHANNON AIRPORT....ooopps, my bad....disregard the last statement....

A bad day of Golf: Wack..... "Fuck!"
