I was always in the custom map for each modded bike camp.

Even though it was a 200 mile ride (BFD) and $200.00 each (BFD) X's all my FI bikes.

1 stupid question though:

Will a map, say the one Muzzy, or Brock send out, work just as well in Florida, Death Valley AND Colorado? Of course, I am refering to the same exact Power Commander Map.

I know it changes the + / - from the stock ECU, but is that good enough?

I had an on the road issue with a Florida map when I was in the High elevations of Utah.
This map seemed to work fine at home 3-500 ft elevation.

I reloaded a 0 map for the rest of the trip and reloaded the Florida map when I returned home.

The next step was a fully custom map.

It will work just fine. The Fi system automatically adjusted for air density and temperature.
As far as having problems at higher altitudes, I haven't had any problems yet, but it's pretty hard to find any mountain in Louisiana or Florida.

Buy your pipe, buy your powercommander, and go to a reputable tuner with wideband capability and have a custom map made for YOUR BIKE.

Absolutely! That's my opinion on this too! But, when it comes to taking the flies out of this bike, having a canned map is definitely better than a Zero map or no PC at all. But, in the end the best thing anyone can do for their ride is get it Dyno tuned.

I apologies to those of you still waiting on ZX-14 exhaust systems. We are currently in our 4th production run. We have increased the production quantities each time, but the demand has exceeded our expectations. I just checked and there are limited numbers of full stainless systems on hand today. The full Ti systems are in production now. The slip on systems are in production now. When they are completed we will make another large run of stainless systems. I am a little surprised Brock has systems in stock.

Rob, I have a personal friend, who bought a brand new 14, and Muzzy exhaust from Kawasaki Sports Center in Little Rock, AR. He spoke with either Kurt, or Dave, and they would not send him a map. He said they told him, since he did not buy it from Muzzy's, they would not sent it to him. Looks like this has happened to more folks than him.

His bike is on the latest King of the Track flyer. A lot of the guys reading this know the bike, it was pitted next to me in Shreveport. Stretched black 14.

Why should they have to call you directly? Isn't that what you pay Kurt and Dave for? You might want to have a customer service meeting with your staff.

Sounds more like damage control on Muzzys part rather than a "misunderstanding."

Bently sounds like he got the message nice and clear. NO MUZZYS PC, NO MUZZYS MAPS.

And, bently, shit, rude is what they do in the smackhouse. I don't think you were rude at all.

Nope, I was rude. That's because it defies common sense and customer service. That's why Brock Davidson will get all of my business and believe me I have had a few bikes in my days...................so that means alot of business I've given to Brock!!

And that right there is the truth. I've spent tons of money from Mu$$Y on my 12R, but Brock is gonna get the majority of my hard earned $$ this time.....
