I have to point out that Muzzys conclusion that the bike is "unrideable" with no flies is really no different than our own (and Brock's) findings in our review, that indeed the bike is considered to be "unrideable" on the street. It just happens to be that Brock now has all the bizzaro combinations of mpas... the fact that he is offering them up is cool, but suggesting that Rob is somehow "wronging" you by not giving you a map for a product BOTH companies (Brock & Muzzys) feel is not appropriate for the street is just plain wrong.
I understand that Muzzys is developing a better solution to the flies problem, and who can blame them? As we said in our review... removing the flies was a fast, cheap ghetto fix... the TRE was not much better. People need to cool down and wait for PROPER solutions to be developed and not get angry at the aftermarket when they wont provide maps for "bandaid measures".
BTW... shipping delays from Muzzys.... I understand that they cant keep the systems on the shelves they are selling so quickly. (seriously)

There is no right or wrong here. Rob, Brock, whomever have the freedom to do business in the manner of their own choosing. Brock seems to provide the highest level of support for his products and customers. That should make for a simple decision on the part of the consumer.
2 thoughts.
I run a service company and I believe in treating customers as I want to be treated. I believe Brock operates in the same fashion.
The majority of people will buy their pipe and pc as a package and will not be affected by Muzzys decision to only provide maps with pc purchase.

Think you missed the point...MUZZY will not supply a map if you didn't get the PC3 from him and that is just plain BS to me...that was my point...poor customer support...the fact that he doesn't have stock on the pipes...no one came blame them for that...I'm happy he's selling lots of pipes.

Sorry Fish, I don't consider 70+ days a "shipping delay." I had a 14 quite early and ordered a pipe right away, they claim problems obtaining Titanium as the reason. Since TiForce now has pictures of their 14 offerings, and it appears you need to lose the lower fairing, Brock's place will probably get a phone call from me today.

Well as usual a little wrong info on here gives some of you an Axe to grind. MUZZYS policy on Power Commander Maps is: Maps are to be made available to all customers with MUZZY exhaust systems, Werther purchased from MUZZYS direct or any other supplier. Power Commanders purchased direct from MUZZYS will be shipped with the appropriate map installed. Any customer that has requested any map by e mail has received it, no questions asked. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANY OF YOU WHO DOUBT THIS TO E MAIL MUZZYS AND REQUEST A MAP. I f you do not receive one call me personally 541-385-0706 ext. 100
I apologies to those of you still waiting on ZX-14 exhaust systems. We are currently in our 4th production run. We have increased the production quantities each time, but the demand has exceeded our expectations. I just checked and there are limited numbers of full stainless systems on hand today. The full Ti systems are in production now. The slip on systems are in production now. When they are completed we will make another large run of stainless systems. I am a little surprised Brock has systems in stock.

Thanks for clearing this up Rob although I did cancel my order of Pipe/Fan/PC from Schnitz, ( I've been waiting on the Ti/Ti since May 1st) I'll still keep your exhaust in mind. I ruptured a disk in my back so a new pipe became less important and critical. Since you posted such a forthcoming reply, I'll just hold off for now and choose what I think is right for me, including yours in the list of options available.

never was a bashfest, and yea i'm glad it's cleared up.
I have done lots of business with muzzy in the past, and was really taken a back with this info.
Fish; never was really upset about the no Fly map as i don't intend to do that, was upset at lack of support.
I appreciate Rob stepping in and clarifying things, but maybe it's forums such as this that get things fixed...
And as far as Muzzy's misinfromation, that is an internal problem that he needs to correct, and no doubt has.
Thanks for the info Mr. Muzzy, and as much as I like your pipes, I have now made a commitment to Brock, and will stand by it.... But I do love your sliders.

Well Rob(muzzy) you may want to talk to your employees he is the one saying no purchase of power commander no map. Believe Kurt or Curt was his name. Maybe he bought stock in brock hindle so would rather sell more of those

If you look back at my 130 some odd post you will see I'm the farthest thing from rude. Guess I let it slip this time, But I'm not going to lose any sleep over it! Want to talk about rude, The person on the other end of the phone was rude at muzzy's. Now I won't post on this anymore Iwas just saying brock has way better customer service and offers very good maps.
