gps after speedohealer
installed speedohealer today and finally figured out the adjustment to have it perfect with gps readings. one up in rear to a 42 tooth. 190mph on gps. maybe another 2 if didnt run up on cars so soon. you really need a mile and a half to do a good run with a running start. the speedo recall is pretty cool when it rolls around to 189 on the clock. so the speedohealer does the trick for top restriction as mentioned by zx1kr. dry shot and a 40tooth will give a good shot a tru "2" 200mph next week.

I have the speedohealer and set it -10% and I don't think I can get the bike to pull to redline in 6th gear.. What are you seeing?

from what I see on the GPS, -10% is too much, should be more like --7.5%...so now at -10, your actually reading less than the speed you're doing...bad for tickets. I saw the same readings on 2 ZX14's.
so if you were at -7% that would have been around 185+...

FBA that's probably where YOUR bike is correct but, I have mine set at 10% & it's dead on. I've calibrated & verifed multiple times on the dyno. Dyno accuracy 1/100th of mph. They are apparently varying degrees of inaccuracies. I spoke to Tru195 today & we left off at offseting at 13% to account for the 1 tooth up on the rear. Just curious where you ended up Tru195?

I' am at 11% to match 1 tooth up and it reads excactly 1mph below gps which is fine for now.
the sprocket i got from vortex. the 196 i just read bone stock would be very impressive to see, i dont think any stock(stock exhaust and all) would see over 190 tru on public road with out a brisk tail wind and 2 miles to get there. not sure how much of a run is at maxan but would like to do a tru 200 some where, anywhere on just motor, wait a minute even on juice or turbo for that fact. i know the bikes are out there but there not under me. changed gearing to 2 up on rear now and will see if she will pull 185. if it does thats the gearing to stick with in the street. i wont see over that much anyway with all the traffic and lack of empty straights and this way she will pull hard to that speed. corner to corner happens quick to.
