PC's for ZX-14 are released today-

Dynojet just informed me they are releasing the PC for the ZX-14 today (7/3). He said the first ones will go to fill the backorders.

Got mine from Dynojet yesterday----ordered it overnight last Wed. Mapping today. It does come with a stock map that removes a lot of fuel everywhere.

I am under the impression that Dynojet only released the ZX14 PCIII this week, yet Muzzy's swears they have been selling real 14 (not 10 converts) for awhile??
Who's telling the truth...

It's a repackaged 10r unit with edited instructions for the 14, Starcycle has a few muzzy units and released the real info on them, that's why I waited for the real deal.

There is no "real" or unreal, they are all the same, the only difference is the label. Inside, it's the same.

That might be true, but you get no warranty or support from DJ if you install a 10r box on a 14, that's the difference and who knows if they didn't take this extra time to add a few options to the zx14 boxes to work with their new multi-hub so if they are all the same they would have been out 2 months ago with a different sticker on it as you put it.

???? on the above link there is a pdf download of zx14 install... in the instructions it says "This bike uses a servo to hold the throttle
plate open during cold starts. Make sure the
bike is up to operating temperature BEFORE
resetting the throttle position on the PCIII
software."
Does this mean if you reset throttle position before on warm map that the PCIII will keep the flys open????

Sorry for the curt response, but I think what they're saying is that if the bike isn't warm it will send the "wrong" signal to the DJ software. The PowerCommander won't impact the behavior of the ECU-controlled (secondary), or cable-controlled (primary) throttle plates.

I apologize, again.
