Poll Question:
Running change for heat?

Does your bike run hot? What month was it built?

Did Kawi do a production line change to address the problem?

Guys, I don't mean to rain on the parade but climate is a more importaint factor in the heat dept , as well as miles on the engine. With 6200 miles on the ZX this puppy is running cooler in every day traffic then when she was new, and I suspect by the time she reaches 10,000 miles she will run even cooler. Any type of crash traffic or sitting in one spot for more than 5 mins I don't give a dam what you ride it will get hot. I still remember my ZX-11 being hotter than the 14 but clearly shes very hot.
I would suggest having an ambient temp range as well.
For Me below 85 F the ZX is fine above 85 F she is a little warm. Stopped traffic more than 5 min Yes she is hotter than hell and temp has no bearing on the heat.

I had 2 ZX-11's
The 1993 I rode to 6,444 miles
The 1991 I tranded in on my first VFR with 9,750 miles.

This was 8 years ago before I discovered touring, at this time I was a fair weather rider with 2 motorcycles, so if I rode 5000 miles a year well that was a good year.
