Exhaust Mid-pipes

Looking to see if anyone had theirs that they wanted to get rid of cheaply. I'm looking to get a set of custom mid pipes made to utilize either a pair of flanged Carbon fibre Hex mufflers from a ZX-10 or set of slip on Hex Carbon mufflers (which would be my preference for lowering weight), I don't want to use my originals because if they get screwed up I've then basically shot myself in the foot and will then have to purchase a complete new system which would take longer to get, cost alot me alot more and the waiting would mean I couldn't ride my bike.

I know the arguments for a 4 into 1 system but I think this bike looks better with the twin exhausts, however, I also don't believe they should stay as long as Kawasaki intended and I think the carbon finish will complement the black bike quite well giving it a nice engine note to go along with it. Please don't think I'm being a cheap arse but until I sell the ZZR I don't have the cash to throw around as much as I'd like.

If anyone is willing to help me out please let me know, no rush, nothing planned until a PC III gets released in Australia.

I would not be willing to give away my tailpipes, but a few guys have dropped their bikes and damaged the cans, so they might be willing to help you out ... the mid pipes would likely be in good shape.

look around or make a new post asking for damaged tail pipes!
you would likely get better response.

Good luck

I've got my mid-pipes and cans laying on the garage floor right now waiting to be packed up and stored in the attic. Unfortunately, I'll be hanging on to them just in case I'm ever in "need", or if I sell the bike and decide to sell the D&D's seperately.

Sorry, I'm no help, but I'm guessing that many people who have swapped pipes might be thinking this way as well.

Oh, by the way, the mid-pipes are permanently attached to the cans, so unless someone cuts them off, you're really asking for the entire package...
