A big thanks to this forum

400hp turbo Busa stolen 2 weeks ago in Myrtle Beach.
New house being built so priorities dictate no turbo this year.
With a new Busa in the works for 07/08 I don't think it would be smart to buy another one.
Especially with no one in my area carrying the 06LE.

My friend threw me the keys to his black 14 before my bike got stolen. I went for a ride with 500 hard miles on the bike. Totally impressed with the brakes and handling. As we know a little soft down low but real smooth - old news now. I like the bike in black with the cover over the passenger seat. Funny how a cover transforms the look of the bike in my opinion.

The instruments and comfort level in addition tothe smooth ride one me over. After 2 Busa's I'm coming back to Kaw. My old 94Zx11 was good to me.

Been lurking on here for a couple weeks and learned a lot. Found a local dealer who hasn't sold many so we plan to wrap up the deal Monday at the latest.

All my friends have the latest 1ks and Busa's - with me being 247 lbs I know I'll need to get a pipe, map, and remove the flies when she reaches 1k miles. Plan to do gentle revs in 100 mile increments and change the oil at 500 miles. A few heat cycles in the 1st 100 miles.

So far the big dilema is finding a pipe - Muzzy or Brock for my riding style. No turb to back me up so I expect those 1k's to be nasty since they are all piped and the riders weigh less.

Sorry for the long spill - I just want to say thanks to all of you for all the info I've gained regarding this bike. If all goes well I'll keep this bike when the new Busa drops and turbo one of them. Monday can't get here fast enough. I'm just thankfull I'll have a new bike to ride.
