Anyone know how much a new side/fairing panel costs???

Went to the Carolina Hurricanes game (2) last night (Great Game!) on the ZX and come out to find some drunk fuck must've sat on/knocked over my new 14 on its left side, and then re-righted it... - scratched to fuck...it's the "middle panel with the "Kawasaki" emblem...

Anyone have a replacement cost on this piece? Thanks!

Must have been a disgruntled Edmonton Oiler fan................Why can't people leave stuff that does not belong to them the fuck alone. I feel your pain!

about $220 for the panel and $40 for the emblem.

why do people have to touch stuff that isn't theirs?

Because most parents these days don't teach kids to respect others' properties. Even my 3 year old knows better. When I sold my vette and met the guy to finish the delivery of it, the guy leaned on the Z06's rear against the 3 hours of road grime, and my 3 year old piped up and said "that man is touching daddy's car"... You should have seen the look.

Basic courtesies seem to be a lost art as are a ton other social skills.

+1 totally agree.
Almost every time I park the bike in a lot ,I come out to see some fuck parked so close they could have dinged it with the door.....
Neck jerkers whatever.....be warned stay the fuck away!
If I ever catch someone.... well you guys probably know what I'd do........

The problem is people probably witnessed it... but no one will come forward, or hold the person acountable, their proprty or not,
If I caught someone vanadalising property, mine or OTHERWISE.. they are gonna be held accountable.
It wouldn't be the first time i held someone till the police arrived.

I got in a lot of trouble in my days but I never stole or damaged other peoples property.
So you can have fun without being a FUCK about it!

I totally know what you are going through. Read my Post "People I want to Kill"
Just replacing the parts that were bad for me was over 1 K. The Kawi sticker alone on the left cowl is 47 bucks Cdn. Most fairing parts are backordered in Canada till end of June.
I ended up going through ins... My parts bill for all even nicked parts (bike had 348. Km on it) ended up being 3700.00.
Check your ins company... My rates aren't being affexted by a vandalism claim... Just paying deductable..
Feel sorry for you... Let's go hunting together!

I paid $184 for the center left side fairing from Ron Ayers. The decal costs $32.30 for a pair. The fairing comes painted, but with no padding or anything inside, so you'll have to transfer that over from the other fairing panel.
