if this continues
when i found about bikeland, esp. the zx-14 portion of the site, i was glad there was a place
where kawasaki owners could Q&A about their bikes.
i haven't been on long(i'm still a parking attentant), but it seem too me that most of the people on this site, don't give a hoot about being a mature informative member of this site.
instead of being a beacon of light to your fellow biker, most choose to come on an show an
ignorance that people in society( that don't ride a bike) think of most bikers.
if your not on here, to help or to be helped, why are you here?
the concept is good, but the execution remains to be seen!
i'm only one voice on this site, but word of mouth travels fast, if you smart_zz'z continue
to sit behind your screen's, and talk _hit about everything except bikes, i'm out!!!
watch how many respond, they can't help themselves!!!!!!!
still reppin Kawasaki's
from kz to gpz to zx12r to zx14

Well said but you might have jeopardised this thread being moved as it might be a little off topic!! See other threads.
But anyway i'll chip in.
Informative and factual are the only good replies to any mechanical issues, not what someone heard, thought they heard, thought they heard someone say they heard........
If we all work together we can keep our repair bills down, and keep the wheels turning on the road which is what it's all about.
Just my 2 pence (we don't have cents here, if we did it would be about 4 cents)

Tommy, i think if you stick around you'll notice that this board is one of the few boards that are not just full of the crap your talking about. Most people actually contribute here.
I have noticed lately in the last 2-3 months, a lot of new members and a few have taken up the usual shit talk mentality found on most boards. I too hope this board doesnt turn into nothing but pissing matches.
I saw fish address this in a post, and i'm glad he did when he did to try and nip it in the butt.
The smack house has plenty of room for busting balls. Hopefully new people get the hint and go there to talk shit.
So stick around, I dont think you'll find a better board than this for real bike topics and info.

Tommy, if you leave they've won.
You might occasionally need a BS filter and we do have one or two Mr Angry's but on the whole the folk here are people worth knowing. The moderator's are aware of the trouble makers. Stick with it.

Just ignore the smack talk and mind your own business.
There is alot of good info shared here.
I used to get caught up in the conflicts, disagreements, and waste my time telling people off.
They won't change anyway.....
use the site for your needs offer what you know, and ignore the BS.
Fishy has been pretty good about sending peeholes to the smackhouse when they belong there.
The moderators are very good, and the some of the knowledge is very good.
Sometimes the im-posters...LOL think the new guys have nothing, and judge people by their # of posts..... thats they're bad.
Just because someone has 5 posts doesn't mean they have been riding for 5 days.
Stick around .... it only gets better .

Fuck..... another one....
What i meant is if the new guy only has 5 posts that doesn't necessarilly mean he has 5 days total ever in his lifetime riding experience.
Droid have you ridden motorcycles more than 43 times? seconds? minutes? days? months? years? or what ?

Thanks .... No hard feelings and welcome to the board.

I've been on this site for nearly 6 years, and have found it to be a consistent and excellent resource for upgrading, maintaining, and racing my 12. I also appreciate reading what others are doing on the track and street. As in all things, you need to take the good with the bad....

Tommy please dont mention wheelies, or riding hard it makes a few people on here feel inferior. Other than that its a pretty informative site.

The best riders usually don't talk about how great they are at doing wheelies and charging down back roads. Kind of the same as not bragging about how many women you have slept with.

This is my point. On the busa forum or gixxer forum peple apreciate what the bikes are capable of doing performance wise, and they like to hear stories about it. On here there are a few very vocal riders that get upset when you talk about wheelies and such. They talk about gas mileage. Which is fine to each his own i guess, but alot more skilled busa riders will be coming and they should be able to talk about thier experiences too. im not trying to be smart, but this is one great wheelie and tire smoking bike. It even handles well enough to outrun the 1000s through the canyons if you are a better rider. Everyone should lighten up, if you like to cruise so be it. if another guy likes to use the power that this bikei has good for him too. i like the power and i cant wait to get more. i have a harley and a custom to cruise with
