Peg and pipe
OK. got the new 1400. love it, just got over breakin.
While riding to break it in this weekend, i burned my sidi's on the pipe. Just getting on the toes and riding it. Size 13 should not hit the pipe, right.
Any solutions out there?

my boots were burnin on the pipes too.
I have to find some other footwear.
In the meantime gasket remover took it off.
The gasket remover comes in spray can, and gells up.
I layed rags out around the area, and behind the pipe to make sure it did not get on anything else.
It will eat plastics, remove paint etc.... nasty stuff.
A couple of application to let it soften, and rub it off.
Like i said though... don't spray it anywhere else!

I'm a size 13 also...only time I get my Sidi's on the pipes is when I stand...so I just have to remember not to put my feet to far back; this is the 1st bike I have even seen issues like this on...sux a bit.
