You guy can do whatever you think is best, BUT I put that TRE thing on my 10R and it sucks arse. As a matter O fact I helped one of the other 10R guys take it off of his bike at the GAP and reset his TPS to stock which helped his throttle responce greatly. TOP this off with the fact that Ivan is a prick delux when question about his products when you're having troubles. I KNOW THIS FIRST HAND!!! I done 2 grand worth of business with Ivan on my 10R and had a little issue myself which I had to call him up and ask a few questions. Ivan was a PRICK! and felt that he was beyond asking questions about his tuning ideas. He's got my last DIME! And his TRE is a POS to boot.

On his site, he says that the TRE's affect throttle response at 1/4 throttle...so exactly what are we seeing on his charts? BTW, the bottom end he "fills in" is still at least 25-30FT lbs below where it would be if the engine was mapped with no power limitation. My Busa did over 80 LBS SAE at 3K and the charts are on this site to prove it; furthermore the numbers I posted are after mods, which always lower the TQ/HP below 4.5k

He is somewhere at 65+ STD HP which is much lower than SAE...I wouldn't waste my money on that thing...total crap IMO. He still does not address the huge factory dip on his charts...because he can't. The 14 at 3-3.5K should make at least 85+ LBS RWTQ SAE, not this 65 RWTQ STD crap...

I just got mine in the mail. I'll let you guy's know if it works.... It's only 65 dollars and it's worth a shot to see if it could help down low. Also I talk to him yesterday and he said when the Powercommand, Dynojet Ignition Module, and AKRAPOVIC pipe he will post all his numbers up.... Plus if you get the mod's through him he throws in the custom maps for both Powercommand and the Ignition Module with them.

Different folks have specified several different problems with the TRE. The main problem I have is with Ivan Himself after the sale. He's a self proclaimed GOD of knowledge and is beyong question in his eyes. I personally have tried to deal with him on a few questions with his shit that I put on my 10R. I'm DONE ever dealing with him because of his aditude. AND I don't think he's ever told two people the same thing when it come to WHAT his TRE actually does on the 10R.

.6 torque and .2 hp? TRE? What does tre stand for? Trying, Really Everyone!

I could double up on a two dose suppository, and match these settings (body weight loss) for less money... I'd have an instant seat of the pants "feel" (if it's safe to have a pair of pants on) to tell the difference.

Gunner sold me on this item.... pass thanks. (not on the service side, but on the performance end)

TRE---Timing Retard Eliminator. Had one on a Busa---took it off. Someone has to adress the secondary throttle body opening before the complete lack of low end torque (i am more dissapointed in low end throttle response than anything) is adressed. Kawasaki screwed the pooch on this one.
