Just got a email from Schnitz saying that the 14 power comanders are available and the maps are ready for the Muzzy pipe.

Wow, my ride is on a train from Vancouver to Toronto and hopefully I will finally get it next week. Now that I know I am actually going to get my ride I will order the pipe and commander. Any price set for it yet?

Schnitz's PC's are reconfigured ZX-10R units. DJ won't be shipping ZX-14 units for about 3 weeks. Just an FYI.

Maybe they'll have a program in the PC that opens the 2nd butterfly? I know for Gixxers they have a program on later units that eliminates the error code when you remove the exhaust gate controller...so, maybe it's possible...

So have anyone experienced the new power commander and has it eliminated the slow pick up in the early RPM stage?

I talked w/Muzzy's today, when I heard about the PC being available. They (Curt, I believe.) said something to the effect of: "That was the engine's designed characteristics and nothing was going to significantly change it (The low-end power, or, rather ,lack thereof.)." I don't believe that, but that's what I was told. He repeated the same info. when I asked about a new program or TRE, of some kind. He said their exhaust and/or the PC would neither lose any down low, nor would it gain any. Sort of changed my mind from the Muzzy's, as a matter of fact. I may look at Leo Vinci. Still collecting info...

Someone need to rip into one and see if the 12s sprockets are the same.
If so ........ then we can play w/ cam timing.

12R sprockets are pressed on 14's are bolt on. Would be very easy to slot the sprockets and adjust the cam timing...

If it is a setup like Brock is running on his 14, it seems to work pretty well.

2006 ZX-10 Power Commander is the same as the ZX-14.

Same wiring, same everything.

Only difference is the ZX-10 Maps go up to 14000 +/- RPM... ZX-14's will only go to 12000 +/-.

That is the only difference!

All Power Commanders (for 4 injector motorcycles) are the same other than the number of cells in the maps.

Easy fix - just copy and paste the map

These are available now and in stock!

Thanks Ryan, when you buy the package pipe/fan/PC does it come with the map installed? If not I'll have to find someone with a PC to do the install.

Now if Muzzy could just get my Ti/Ti exhaust made I'd be a happy camper.

I ordered the pipe/fan about 3 weeks back but didn't add the PC until the day you announced their availability.
