Tight chain?
I picked up my black 14 today and the chain seemed real tight before I took off from the dealer but when i got home and checked out the owners manual it said there should be some slack. Measure fromthe tightest part of the chain ? I always check for the slack in the bottom of the chain.

Mine was tight from the dealer ..I added some slack to mine ...

That is what i was thinking of. Didn't think that it would stretch that much.

Better to be a little too loose than too tight. A chain that's too tight could bend the output shaft or damage the output shaft bearings.
