D&D Exhaust

Hey guys - I'm dropping my bike off at D&D for a week or so, they are going to design a slip-on system prototype on it. I was lucky enough to be the first local guy to call them and volunteer the use of my bike

I'm looking forward to hearingh the motor a little better... don't care so much about power, but it sounds like I could gain a hp or two, it really doesn't matter though. I just want to get rid of those HUGE cans, the stick out even more with the fender removed.

I hope you have ear plugs. Cause those are loud as hell!

I got an e-mail earlier today from Micron. They are almost done with the new slip-ons for the ZX-14 and they are working on their patented "serpent form" full exhaust now. They said they should be releasing some pipes very soon. I'm thinking very hard about the black/silver fade Micron pipes...mmmmm...tasty...

I know, I think they have a reputation for that. I'm gonna try to persuade them to tone them down for me if it's annoying, we'll see what happens. I'm keeping my old cans too, so if it's unbearable, I could always revert back.

Can't be anywhere near as bad as an old Vance & Hines pipe a friend of mine has on his ZX-7... man that this is loud!

Why don't you go full system /PC3 and make some more power at the same time Matt?

In a way, you could say D&D slipons are the best return for the money.

Ie; they don't make any more power, and are noisy as hell.

Hey, that's mean!!!

I don't think anyone's slipons make more power from what I've read... and I want more noise, so we'll see how it works out. They are going to do before and after dyno pulls, so we'll know pretty quick if there are any gains at all. I'll be sure to get charts and post them.
