Extra power outlet.

Anybody know if there are extra powewr taps in the fuse panels, etc.

I want to install my heated vest plug.

My 12R had some extra keyed spots on the main bus where you could tap in.

Do it on the battery post directly or right off the ignition switch...bike is CANbus and will code if you tap somewhere you shouldn't...that's not to say it can't be done, but know exactly what you're doin if you intend to tap anywhere other than where I've indicated

check out 2 internet sites

cyclegagets
& powerlet

both have Excellent optional power points

i concur its always better to run directly from the battery
if you search correctl youll find some also offer the new style
inline fuses as opposed to the old stlye glass ones

good luck
