My 1/4 times are embarrassing, The 1/8 mile is the Boogy man. 27K on Muzzy stage 1, 37K total miles. 9.45 @ 150.6 mph at @ 7K corrected altitude. Track conditions suck at best or are so sticky that change up is too short to make changes. 25 runs a year is considered good with the short season and oil leaking cages.

sounds like you need to find another track... We run every weekend except off a few weeks for Christmas. We run thefirst weekend of the new year! I think I really take that for granted sometime

This is a daily commute bike, not a qualified drag bike. Air shifter, light rider, sea level would make a big change.

my 14 is by far a faster bike--- stretched -lowered - pipe -pc- raced the 00 12 for 6yrs lost a season or 2 cause i got greedy and stroked it. finally ended with a 1270 best 9.22. the 14 same set up much smoother my best to date 9.03 with much less seat time. i loved my 12 but there is no comparision in my book. the 14 has made me forget the 12 very easily.the 12 was a ugly ride at times and the 14 is always smooth never scary.

Just ran my fastest pass ever yesterday on pump fuel. 9.05 fasest pass before was Jan 2 of a 9.06 on mr9. Only changes made were a Racetech spring installed and took one front rotor off. Only if I had some mr9 yesterday... I've actually gained 5 or 6 lbs since Jan, so now I'm at 200 in boxers. I Got to quit eating so much!

Erica has run a fastest ET of 9.53 at 146.1 with a 60ft of 1.55.

Rider is a 16 year old female weighing in at 122 lbs. in street clothes on a 2008 ZX14 and has only been riding the bike for 5 months (10 years of Motocross Experience). The very first night she ran a 10.1 at 140 mph straight off the showroom floor (not lowered) so that's a good example of what an average rider could easily run.

Below are links to two seperate videos from the first night out running low 10's and a video shot 3 months later of a 9.65 run with the bike being lowered, HD Clutch Springs and a Catalyst Drag Step Seat.

If the links aren't clickable just copy and paste them into your web browser address bar.

Only mods to the bike at the time of the 9.53 run were;
Brock's Front Strap
Brock's Rear lowering links
Brock's HD Clutch Springs with Spacers
Catalyst Drag Step Seat

Keep in mind, this was done with the stock exhaust, tune and Bridgestone tire.

Hope this helps....
