If the race Pilgram is talking about is the red 14 at kennedale, that was the first night out. He was out again last night and was running 6.48 at 116+. His second night out. It will get better.

Mad Mike
Yeah, not bad, but those 6:80s keep popin up
Thing is, for all you dumb shits out there, 6:80's aint bad at all. You can have a million hp and it ain't going no quicker than that until you give it some wheelbase. So that tells me some of you don't know shit.
Thinking a ZRX is a 75hp bike tells me you don't know shit...

But seriously, you must be some kind of retard to make statements such as you have.
I figure you are just another soreass Busaloser.
You have just made statements that the strongest production bike ever made is now magically slower than some lame ass R1 piece a shit.
Go somewhere else and spew forth your bullshit.

The real story is that yes the 1st night one of the runs was 6.85 @ 113, but later that night
the bike went 6.60 but was very hard to keep the front end down. The next night
Thrusday night we went back out with a strap off the old 12 and ran a 6.43 @ 116.53.
My son rides the bike he is 180 lbs he had trouble getting 3rd gear since this bike
will run 110 in 2nd gear, the e.t. was not hurt much @ a 6.44 @ 106.
Best 2 3.30 and 6.60 together was 6.37 @ 117.22. The best 3.30 mile hr 89.53.
Only the 2nd night out I believe with a swing arm 64 inch, a pipe and a lower gear
this bike will run low 5.80 @ 122.

I got Raven R1 and Pilgrims number ... Here he is > He lives in TX , goes to Kennadale drag strip with his friends because there is nothing to do in his home town but go cow tipping , He rides a 600 (R6 mostlikey ) and it's been dropped more than one time , He is 17 to 19 years old and did make it out of high school with a C-- , He works for Burgerking but he mostlikey will not last long at the job...He goes to the Yamaha dealer allmost daily to drool over the R1, the saleman there hate the kid and wish he would go away ..He rides with flip flops, shorts, he does wear a helmet but it has a rattle can paint job much like his motorcycle ... Hey Pilgrim i'm on the money am i not ?? We should be able to tell how close i got by how many bad words he replys with .....lol......

Hey guys - I'm not getting into the drag racing argument, I've got no business there, but believe it or not I actually met Pilgrim Thursday afternoon at the local Yamaha shop before this whole mess started - and didn't even know it. He's a nice guy, we chatted for a few minutes and he told me about the 14 at Kennedale the night before. I'll probably go watch one day as I've never watched bikes drag, and this is the closest track so it's a fairly popular place.
Oh, and he's not 17
Kenneth - glad to hear the times are coming down as your son gets used to the bike. I'm sure they will continue to improve as he figures out this new beast.

Maybe I should have said that he's not anywhere near 17... "kid" does not apply.
Don't worry, I don't plan on going near the strip with my own bike. I've already got way too many hobbies that have expensive entry fees to take up another.

Not trying to jump into an agument or anything but, for you and your buddy with the R1, I'll gladly pull the zx9r out and tear a new asswhole in you. Just give me a place and time, Now that eliminates all of the talking. By the way, if the bikes had made it to the dealership by now, maybe we would be out riding but I'm on the east coast right now so I guess it sucks to be me!
