I had a buddy a few years ago that had a Busa and I had an FZ1. We would race off the lights all the time, and every time I beat him. Of course he romped past me before the end of the block, but it always bugged him that he never beat me off the line. Point is if the 14 was tuned down for low end and only worried about what it took to hit 130mph it would walk home. I've had 2 R1's (an '02 and '04) and my 14 takes this piss out of them. Then again I wouldn't put the 14 up against an R1 on a track.
What happened to the love of motorcycling? Seems people spend more time worried about hundredths of a second, fastest colour, 1 hp, 1/2 pound lighter, etc. Unless you are Valentino Rossi....your not using it anyway!

My best pass out in Vegas I ran a 6.82 @ 111.76mph... and that was me weighing in at 240+ or so, with no gear on. and the elevation was 3100ft that day... if I would have weighed in at 170, I would have ran 6.50-6.60... and that was at 3100ft... with a full tank of gas and "BONE STOCK"....

Yeah, your right. But crap, Ive had every fast bike other than a 14 and if its what they say, I will have one of them too. But when I saw what happened at the track, Im waiting a while. I want to see one in good street clothes run, then I will make my mind up.

Our trolls are from crowley, tx and if he is racing 1/8 mile it's most likely racing Kennadale or Ceder Creek ....My bet he doesn't race, he just watches from the stands and dreams about how fast he or she is ...lol
